In our second semester of Construction, lecture material focused on the construction of large and structurally unique buildings. Our task, then, was to apply these models to the school buildings we had designed in the previous semester design studio.
Topics addressed in Design Development phase:
Because I had designed the building in Revit the previous semester, I was able to fill out the same model during the design development phase, adding the necessary elements and adjusting design features that would have violated code. This gave me the opportunity to push my Revit skills further, even trying my hand at the Structure and MEP iterations of the application.
