digital drawing
arch 211 - winter '08
summary
In better learning the means of digital architectural drawing, we were asked to produce a set of drawings for the Diamond Ranch High School by Morphosis. In addition to plans, sections, and elevations, we produced another drawing of our choosing.
I, with my group, conceptualized the above image based on the design implimented by Morphosis. We likened the space presented through the sculpting of steel shapes to the unhewn geological surfaces of a deep canyon. I used the Vanishing Point tool in Photoshop to apply purchased stock art to a two-dimensional Illustrator perspective of the school.
